Algalon Down
Tonight on Tich, on our 3rd (4th?) week of tries, we got Algalon, the destroyer of raids down on 10 man, with about 15 minutes to spare.

One Light in the dark-10 Tichondrius
A few nights ago, A Tichondrius <Basin> 10 man team was able to complete One Light in the Darkness and after taking 20 minutes to fry up a few iron dwarfs under razorscale, Glory of the Ulduar Raider, earning their Rusted proto-drakes!

So, let's see some screenshots from peoples' ICC runs!
Here is one from our first Marrowgar-10 kill on Stormrage, where we learned that I'm most useful dead, so that I can spend my time giving detailed instructions rather than pewpewing. :P

Onyxia 25 Down on Stormrage!
Stormrage raiding is on a roll! We had a ton of folks sign up for our weekly Sunday night duo 10-man Onyxia raid, and only a couple who were already locked into 25 for the week. With the help of a couple more kind folks from the Basin and Emeritus (am I leaving anyone out?), we had an epic battle! I think we had two ranged damage dealers, so phase 2 was looooong, but we made it through, and despite my own computer crashing me out of the game just as we hit "Hammer Time", we got her down! I logged in again just in time to throw another heal and a hammer. I didn't get any screen shots, so share them if you've got them!

Anub-10 down on Stormrage
On our third week in ToC-10, we finally got the faction champions down, and took our first look at the Twin Valkyr. We got them down for the first time with about 20 mins left in the raid, and thought we'd fling ourselves at Anub'arak just to see the fight. After a very quick explanation and one wipe to look at him, we got him down! :) I suck at remembering to take pictures at the right time, but here's a couple shots that I did take:

Bug Report for Tichondrius
Those of you that have been following our progress know that we breezed through Colosseum and then suddenly hit a brick wall with Anub. For whatever reason, we were able to consistently 1-shot all the bosses up to him, but couldn't even get a solid attempt on him, let alone get him down. It was obvious we were doing something very wrong in our basic strategy, so we decided to put our heads together and solicit opinions from off-server basiners.
After coming to the forums and discussing what we were doing wrong, we made some adjustments to our tank positions and DPS priorities, and went back in.
First attempt ended messily as we transitioned from a forum strategy to actual practice. The second attempt saw us in phase 3 for the first time, giving our healers a first look at their duties there. The third pull of the night gave us a dead Anub'arak, with no raid deaths, and a total of 74,000 raid dps for the fight.
Well done, Basin!

Faction transfers now available
That's right! Your Tauren warrior can now grow pink braids and your human priest can join the ranks of the undead!
Here's the Faction transfer FAQ. Looks like you get all your faction specific stuff (including rep) transferred over to the corresponding faction too:
Quote Upon changing factions, the reputation level associated with the character's previous race will become the reputation level of the new race. All other racial reputations will be converted according to the following chart:
Orc (Orgrimmar) ↔ Human (Stormwind)
Tauren (Thunder Bluff) ↔ Gnome (Gnomeregan Exiles)
Undead (The Undercity) ↔ Night Elf (Darnassus)
Troll (Sen'jin) ↔ Dwarf (Ironforge)
Blood Elf (Silvermoon) ↔ Draenei (The Exodar)
Note the service only changes your faction, gets you a name change, and a "customization". You still need to spring for a server transfer too, if you're going Tich<->Stormrage.

Northrend beasts have been tamed
Tonight, after numerous wipes while learning the encounter, the Northrend Beasts succumbed to a 10 man basin group that was too impatient to wait for next week's 25man raids!
Here's to following it up with a 25 man kill in the near future.

Our First Ulduar 25 .. and we cleared the Siege area!!!

Tich: The next 3 bosses down in Ulduar
Tonight on 25 man, we got our act together and pulled off a near perfect Auriaya kill after several false starts. Grats to all, and here's hoping we can get some new tanks trained up in there quick :P
We actually got council and kolgoran down 3 weeks back, but Auriaya has taken us a few times to master.

First Four bosses down in Ulduar on Tich!
We haven't posted regular updates in a while, but last night was a good enough milestone that we should share:
Flame Leviathan
Razorscale
Ignis
XT Deconstructor
all down. I don't have a screenshot of them all, but I will post our epic Deconstructor kill in which we had two people standing at the end (technical difficulty atm with the pic). Congrats to Taco on the first Legendary shard!
We got Kologarn to about 25% as well with only 3-4 pulls, so we should kill him next week. Iron Council and Auriaya are up next.

I know several have seen naxx25 a plenty, but we had many first timers who now got to see the action .. and the joy of downing that boney buzzard KT!

It took us a bit, but Plumb Odd .. the 2nd naxx 10 group for SR ... has cleared through naxxaramas.

First Stormrage Naxx 10 Full Clear
Since martini couldn't make the raid this weekend, I'll go ahead and steal her thunder.
We almost cleared 4 wings on our Friday session. Except for foisting some people into new roles on 4 Horsemen we would have had no wipes until Heigan. We stayed late to finish him off and left Loatheb+ for Sunday.
After Loatheb, we got some new people a chance to see Saph; first attempt got him to 10.2k health. That's 'k' as in thousand, not percent. :( Unfortunately we had someone who had to leave after that attempt and couldn't find a replacement right away so we just nine-manned it! We got a tenth for Kel'Thuzad and we learned our way through the fight, improving each time until we got a bunch of people a nice achievement.
I suck at <printscreen>, but grats all!

Tich happenings
We haven't had any news for a little bit, so let's bring everyone up to speed on current events on tich.
We've got several groups now clearing Naxx 10 man every week, and as a guild, we've managed to clear Naxx 25! I somehow missed out on a kill photo, but I'm pretty sure this one was on the successful attempt.

Also, Mike (Werkn) organized up a hugely successful raid for the (For the Horde!) achievement, earning almost 40 basiners a new black war bear!

Great Job in Naxx 25
We did our first Naxx 25 today, and it was an outstanding success. We cleared spider and plague wing, with most bosses being one-shot. 18 pieces of loot were awarded, and everyone had a great time. I think we all agreed it was quite a bit easier than 10 man, and we were only limited to 6 bosses because we ran out of time.
This week we also did 3 simultaneous 10 man vault of archavons, followed by a 25 man archavon, and also 2 10 man obsidian sanctum followed by a 25 man OS.
What a great way to roll in a new year of basin raiding!

Tichondrius WotLK Raiding Week 1
Went to the Obsidian Sanctum and killed Satharion on Thursday!
Went to Naxxramas on Friday/Saturday and killed:
Arachnid Quarter: CLEAR (Anub'Rekan, Grand Widow Faerlina, Maexxna)
Plague Quarter: 2 of 3, and almost got the 3rd! (Noth the Plaguebringer, Heigan the Unclean, almost Loatheb)
Military Quarter: 1 of 3 (Instructor Razuvious)
Construct Quarter: None yet :)
Nice work everyone! Hopefully we can do even more than 2 raids next week with more 80's!
