-XX to Monster Defense Per Hit

This adjustment is different than Eth in that every strike that successfully lands on a monster will reduce its defense by that amount. For example, say a weapon with -100 Monster Defense per Hit strikes a monster with 1,000 defense rating three times: the first hit reduces the monster's defense rating to 900, the second reduces its defense rating to 800, the last hit reduces its defense rating to 700. When this attribute is combined with a fast-hitting weapon to chip away at a monster's defense, it can benefit the entire party because unlike the Eth rune's defense rating adjustment, this method of reducing a monster's defense applies to everyone.

Equipment:
Malice (rune word weapon): -100 Monster Defense per Hit.
Soul Drainer vambraces: -50 Monster Defense per Hit.

A note on Conviction. I'm fairly certain everyone knows what Fanaticism does for a bowazon, but Conviction is worth a whirl. Depending on how well a paladin has developed it, this aura reduces defense ratings by 49~90%, and when the monsters are 10-20 levels higher than you, trust me, it makes a difference because it totally throws off the To-Hit formula that was previously in the monsters' favor.
