Gerhalt Abinhood is a Tyrian ranger. Son of the local monk in a distant fishing village. Gerhalt witnessed his entire village be killed by a Charr raiding party that managed to sneak past the wall. He was the only survivor in that day, the day he killed his first Charr, using his first bow he crafted himself. His father wanted Gerhalt to follow the path of the gods, but in his heart he knew he was meant to be a marksman. Gerhalt would go out on the woods searching for the perfect piece of wood from wich he would craft his first bow. It was due to that he escaped the Charr slaughter.
Alone and enraged he wandered the badlands of Ascalon for a long time, joining the bandits that plagued the area. But his father did a good job at educating him, and as soon as he heard the news of King Adelbern recruiting heroes to fight off the Charr he knew his days of banditry had came to an end.
In that time he met Aidan again. It was this ranger that inspired Gerhalt in the ways of the bow in the first place. Aidan tough what he could to the wild Gerhalt that came out of the woods seeking for him, but it was Master Ranger Nente that turned a bandit archer into a true ranger.
Nente instructed Gerhalt in the ways of Melandru, and directed him to a shrine where Gerhalt met his first true friend since the Charr attack on his village. Heartfang he named the beast, for it was caring and fierce. Together they went on adventuring those days, helping the people of Ascalon as they could.
Then came the searing...

Gerhalt has grown considerably after the searing. He became a hero to the people of Tyria and travelled to other continents, becoming a champion of good on those lands as well. Even though he is always surrounded by trusty companions on his journeys, all the following achievements are of great pride to him:

* Gerhalt has fought the Charr and followed Prince Rurik, leading the people of Ascalon across the Shiverpeaks into Kryta.
* There he joined the Shining Blade and travelled to the Crystal desert, where he has Ascended to the grace of the gods.
* After ascending, he fought the Mursaat and defeated the Lich Lord, keeping close the doors of Komalie and holding the Titans at bay.
* He has since then defeated the Titans in the Shiverpeaks and Kryta, but has yet to defeat the ones left in the Maguuma Jungle and Ascalon.
* Gerhalt has also reclaimed the Fallen Tombs of the Primeval Kings from the powers of the Darknesses.
* Into the Sorrow's Furnace, Gerhalt has defeated the Iron Forgeman before it could be completed.

* Gerhalt has discovered the plans of Shiro to return to the mortal realm, and with the help of the envoys, became closer to the stars
* After that he saved the ancestral spirits in the Tahnnakai Temple,and sought their council.
* Gerhalt recovered the Spear of Archemorus and the Urn of Saint Viktor to fight Shiro.
* Gaining the allegiance of the Kurzicks, and later even the Luxons, has released the dragon Kunavaang from the grasp of Shiro.
* With the advice and help of the dragon, he finally defeated Shiro as a mortal once more, despite his immense power. The envoys took care of his soul, apparently taking it to a "special" place.
* Gerhalt has also been successful in defeating the corrupted spirit of the forest Urgoz, hunting him down into the heart of the Echovald Forest.

* Gerhalt has proven to be a Sunspear leader, and helped the fight against the armies of Kourna, at last finding a way into the Sunspear Sanctuary.
* He has managed to make his way to Vabbi, and gain the trust of the princes of that region against Varesh, even though it was a little bit too late.
* Gerhalt has then followed Varesh's forces into the Desolation, awakening the Scourge of Vabbi and learining from him the secret of taming the great Junundu Wurms.
* Finally defeating Varesh at the Ruins of Morah, he followed into the Realms of Torment to finally defeat the forces of Abaddon and the god himself.

* Gerhalt discovered the passage into the Far Shiverpeaks after exploring the crevasse outside of Lions Arch.
* There he found out about the destroyer menace, and the need to gather allies from the people of the North.
* After reaching the tower called the Eye of the North, Gerhalt was able to gaze into the misterious Scrying pool, discovering the true nature of the Destroyers.
* Gerhalt has proven himself to the Norn, gaining the alleigance of the warrior Jora. Gerhalt has since then reached the status of Slayer of Demons.
* Gerhalt has gained the trust of the Asura, and helped them in gathering the necessary resources to push the destroyers back, allowing the Asura to join their cause. He is considered Not Too Dopey by the Asuras.
* He is now Searching for the lost Ebon Vanguard in the Charr homelands.
* Gerhalt has explored many dungeons and became a Gutsy Delver.

* Gerhalt has fully vanquished the Fissure of Woe, defeating all the forces of Menzies that took over the place.
* The Underworld remains yet a challenge. Gerhalt has defeated the forces of Duum many times, and has fully explored the Underworld's many domains on a number of ocasions. Many quests remains a challenge though.
* Gerhalt has since accumulated close to ten Obsidian Shards, and more than fifty Globs of Ectoplasm.

Gorth Abinhood is the cousin of the great hero Gerhalt Abinhood, protector of Tyria. Differently from his cousin though, he lived in Ascalon City before the searing, entering the life of the military early due to the increasing Charr attacks on the wall. On the day of the searing, Gorth was at the great Northern Wall working as a sentry. The scars from that day still hurt back during the coldest of nights.
Besides the horrors of the searing and the loss of their home, Gorth had found a home in Kryta and the military White Mantle. When the truth about the organization was revealed at the Maguuma bloodstone, Gorth swore revenge on the name of the people of Kryta, Ascalon, Shiverpeaks and any other place, for if monsters hide in the dark of the wild lands, the dark towers of the cities hides monsters in disguise at every corner.

* After following the lead of the captured chosen ones into the Maguuma Jungle, he discovered the true, murderous nature of the Mantle. His oath to avenge the people of Tyria made he and the Shining Blade to steal the Scepter of Orr from the Mantle, and flee into the Crystal Desert.
* There he ascended, and took advice from the Dragon Glint. He now tries to defeat the Mursaat at the Southern Shiverpeaks.

* Gorth has travelled with brother Mhenlo to Kaineng city. There thei discovered the truth about the plague: The spirit of Shiro Tagashi had returned!
* Ha has became Weh so Nu (closer to the stars) and needs to commune with the spirits in Tahnakai temple to discover the next step to defeat Shiro.

* Gorth finally found his home with the Sunspears, and has risen in their ranks swiftly.

* Finally in Vabbi, he defended the Dzagonur Bastion against Vares's wrath, and discovered a bitter truth: Nightfall had come!

* Ahru arrived in Lions Arch to find the country besieged by undead hordes. He hurried to the Temple of Tolerance where he recovered the Scepter of Orr.
* He has helped the White Mantle find and protect the chosen, only to see them being captured by the Shining Blade.
* Ahru followed the Shinning Blade deep within the Maguuma Jungle, only to find that they indeed mean no har to the chosen. He was led to belive there was a sinister force driving the White Mantle, and headed for the jungle's Bloodstone witnessing the Mantle true face.
* After retrieving the Scepter of Orr from the Mantle, he and the remaining Shining Blade where hunt down and scattered. Most where captured, but Ahru made it to the Crystal desert with the Aid of Vizier Khilbron.
* Ahru is currently adventuring in the desert, completing the triels of ascension to gain the power to defeat the White Mantle.

* Ahru only went to Kaineng to find the whereabouts of Zenmai. He has yet to seek brother Mhenlo to discover more of the plague afflicting the continent.

His parents where always proud of Banta's involvement with the community. Caring and hard-working, he always placed the needs of others before his own. His name was chosen from the great patriarch of the family, but differently from his ancestor's ways, he followed the path of the gods instead of necromancy.
All the high priests knew that Banta showed the potential to rise in the ranks of the temple, and what looked to be a bright future for the young monk would be soon put aside when the great wall fell to the Searing brought by the Charr. Banta was one of the first to make it out of Ashford Abbey and head to Ascalon city, helping the injured and caring for the broken families. When Ascalonians set way to Kryta, he knew where his place in the world was, and he would care for others in whatever endeavours they might take.

Banta has had many companions trough his journey, and could not have gone so far without them:

* Prophecies
** After defeating the Charr assaulting Rin with the use of the Stormcaller, Banta decided to follow Prince Rurik and the people of Ascalon trough the Shiverpeaks.
** He has made his way into Yak's bend, where he learned that the Dwarves are caught in a civil war. He plans to join a group to clear the passage of Borlis Pass soon, for they fear that the cold of the mountains may take more lives than the fights with the Summit dwarves.

Gerhalt would go out on the woods searching for the perfect piece of wood from wich he would craft his first bow. It was due to that he escaped the Charr slaughter.
Alone and enraged he wandered the badlands of Ascalon for a long time, joining the bandits that plagued the area. But his father did a good job at educating him, and as soon as he heard the news of King Adelbern recruiting heroes to fight off the Charr he knew his days of banditry had came to an end.
In that time he met Aidan again. It was this ranger that inspired Gerhalt in the ways of the bow in the first place. Aidan tough what he could to the wild Gerhalt that came out of the woods seeking for him, but it was Master Ranger Nente that turned a bandit archer into a true ranger.
Nente instructed Gerhalt in the ways of Melandru, and directed him to a shrine where Gerhalt met his first true friend since the Charr attack on his village. Heartfang he named the beast, for it was caring and fierce. Together they went on adventuring those days, helping the people of Ascalon as they could.
Then came the searing...

Gerhalt has grown considerably after the searing. He became a hero to the people of Tyria and travelled to other continents, becoming a champion of good on those lands as well. * With the advice and help of the dragon, he finally defeated Shiro as a mortal once more, despite his immense power. The envoys took care of his soul, apparently taking it to a "special" place.
* Gerhalt has also been successful in defeating the corrupted spirit of the forest Urgoz, hunting him down into the heart of the Echovald Forest.

||Gorth Abinhood is the cousin of the great hero Gerhalt Abinhood, protector of Tyria. Differently from his cousin though, he lived in Ascalon City before the searing, entering the life of the military early due to the increasing Charr attacks on the wall. On the day of the searing, Gorth was at the great Northern Wall working as a sentry. The scars from that day still hurt back during the coldest of nights.
Besides the horrors of the searing and the loss of their home, Gorth had found a home in Kryta and the military White Mantle. When the truth about the organization was revealed at the Maguuma bloodstone, Gorth swore revenge on the name of the people of Kryta, Ascalon, Shiverpeaks and any other place, for if monsters hide in the dark of the wild lands, the dark towers of the cities hides monsters in disguise at every corner.

||His parents where always proud of Bantu's involvement with the community. Caring and hard-working, he always placed the needs of others before his own. His name was chosen from the great patriarch of the family, but differently from his ancestor's ways, he followed the path of the gods instead of necromancy.
All the high priests knew that Bantu showed the potential to rise in the ranks of the temple, and what looked to be a bright future for the young monk would be soon put aside when the great wall fell to the Searing brought by the Charr. Bantu was one of the first to make it out of Ashford Abbey and head to Ascalon city, helping the injured and caring for the broken families. When Ascalonians set way to Kryta, he knew where his place in the world was, and he would care for others in whatever endeavours they might take.

** After defeating the Charr assaulting Rin with the use of the Stormcaller, Bantu decided to follow Prince Rurik and the people of Ascalon trough the Shiverpeaks.
** He has made his way into Yak's bend, where he learned that the Dwarves are caught in a civil war. He plans to join a group to clear the passage of Borlis Pass soon, for they fear that the cold of the mountains may take more lives than the fights with the Summit dwarves.
