Skill level only applied when cast, +% Cold Skill Damage applied whenever cold damage is applied to a hostile unit. [2] Bolt applying cold damage and cold length is fired at any hostile unit that fires a missile which collides with the caster, regardless of whether or not any attack is successful. [1] Bolt is destroyed upon collision with any target or obstacle between the caster and the attacker. Bolts are only triggered by collisions with missiles with ReturnFire flagged. For example, bolts may be triggered by a direct collision with a Fire Ball, Glacial Spike, Molten Boulder or Tornado, but not by damage applied within radius of that collision. If missile is not an attack requiring a hit check, Chilling Armor does nothing to prevent any damage.
