The spirit invoked by this skill bestows upon the Druid and his company the mystical ability to reflect damage back at any opponents who injure them.

Skill descriptions display 20*slvl + 30% damage returned, when 10*slvl + 40% damage returned is actually applied.
Percentage of melee physical damage is only returned if a melee attack hits and applies damage.
Damage returned is based on final physical damage, so reducing or even negating physical damage will result in less or no damage returned.
Damage returned is always applied to the target, but it can be reduced or even negated: an Immune to Physical monster will take no damage.
Also applies to Spirit of Barbs itself, as do other auras, buffs and debuffs.
Does not apply to Raven, Poison Creeper, Carrion Vine Solar Creeper, or Returned.
Aura level equals Spirit of Barbs slvl when cast. Casting Battle Command before summoning results in slvl+1, then casting it on the spirit results in aura level = slvl+2.
While multiple players can summon a Spirit of Barbs each, only highest level aura will be applied to allies within radius of multiple Spirits of Barbs.
