A/E Perma SF Raptor Farmer

This build is designed to clear the raptor cave and kill Rekoff Broodmother quickly and easily. Using Shadow Form to avoid almost all damage, this build takes advantage of the AoE degeneration from Radiation Field skill and Viper's Defense skill to rapidly degen the hatchlings to death. This Build may also be used to farm Vermin outside Senji's Corner.

Equipment

  • An Asuran rank of 6+ is advisable
  • Any armor.
  • Radiant Insignias and Runes of Attunement on as many pieces of armor as possible.
  • Weapon of Enchanting and +5 energy, such as the Totem Axe and an Earth Magic offhand item can work.
  • Poisonous (1-handed weapon) of Enchanting, with Earth Magic offhand item would be ideal, to extend the duration of poison from Viper's Defense.

Usage

  • Enter Riven Earth from Rata Sum, and take the bounty.
  • You should have your Asuran title track active for more energy.
  • Before entering the cave, cast Glyph of Swiftness, Deadly Paradox, and Shadow Form.
  • Maintain Shadow Form while in the cave.
  • Run through the cave, collecting aggro from all the hatchlings and the boss.
  • Cast Sliver Armor to kill the boss.
  • Constantly attack Rekoff Broodmother to keep her from breaking aggro.
  • After the boss dies, cast Radiation Field and wait 5 seconds for Disease to appear.
  • When the hatchlings are diseased, cast Viper's Defense.
  • Continue maintaining Shadow Form until all the hatchlings are dead.
  • Collect drops and repeat as desired.

Counters

  • Failing to maintain Shadow Form.
  • Rekoff Broodmother biting your head off with Twisting Jaws.
  • Angorodons biting your head off with Twisting Jaws.
  • Casting Radiation Field or Viper's Defense too early.
  • Not enough energy to maintain the Shadow Form chain and damage spells.
  • Not having high enough Asuran Rank

Notes

  • You need around 65 energy.
  • Don't forget to activate the Asuran Title.
  • You MUST kill Rekoff Broodmother first.

Variants

More optional skills:

  • Light of Deldrimor Cheap AoE damage, can speed up killing the hatchlings.
  • Intensity Damage boost to increase the speed of killing Rekoff Broodmother, but not really needed.
  • "By Ural's Hammer!" Damage boost to increase the speed of killing Rekoff Broodmother, but not really needed.
  • Feigned Neutrality or Shadow Sanctuary You will want the option of a heal, whichever you are comfortable with to survive multiple twisting jaws.
  • Mindbender or Dark Escape Can speed up the gathering of aggro for a faster run. Mindbender in particular is convenient at high rank because of its higher speed boost and half casting.
