General Notes You may not enter the palace until you talk to Drognan after completing the Tainted Sun quest. In the center of the third level is a portal which must be activated. After activation, enter the portal to the Arcane Sanctuary. Horazon's Journal is located at the end of one of the four branches of the Sanctuary, guarded by the Summoner, a Vizjerei mage of questionable sanity who attacks you with Fire Wall, Fire Ball, Frost Nova, and a particularly vicious Glacial Spike. You can ignore the Summoner and simply read the journal to complete the quest, but due to the Summoner's lack of hit points and high damage it is generally preferable to dispose of him first. Quest Reward A portal to the Canyon of the Magi, which contains the Tomb of Tal Rasha. For players who have not completed the Seven Tombs quest, this will provide information on which tomb is the 'real' one.
