Basin Wiki:Terms of Service

It's expected that wiki contributors are already members of our forums, and will abide by the Posting Guidelines which apply throughout our community. The following are required before the Request account form can be submitted:

User account

• Username should correspond to your forum name (although first letter is automatically capitalized if lower case)
• E-mail address

Personal information

• Real name is optional (although if you choose to provide it, this will be used instead of your username for giving you attribution for your work)
• Personal biography is 25 words minimum (remember this will become the initial content of your user page, which can be edited later)

You do not have to provide your real name or any real-life information, but at the very least you should specify which of our forums you view or post in, and to which section(s) of our wiki you might contribute (or simply that you wish to open an account so that you can tailor your preferences rather than accepting the default).

• Check box to confirm these Terms of Service have been read

After confirming e-mail address, the request should be processed within 24 hours. If it has not been processed within 48 hours, post a topic in Need help using the forums?.
