The Blademaster is the Templar class aimed at offensive abilities.

Skills

Note that the skills, their balance, and perhaps even their arrangement, may change in time for the game's release!

The Blademaster use the following skill groups: Surge Attacks, Swordsmanship, and Auras.

Surge Attacks

Surge attacks get activated if a Blademaster kills a demon, and are then active for some time.

More skill points improve the power of the surge.

Regenerates hitpoints for 3 secs.
Adds critical hit chance for 3 secs.
Boosts shield defense for 3 secs..
Increases surge duration.

Swordsmanship

Swordsmanship skills act as the key skill line for a Blademaster, improving his/her skills with blades in battle.

The swordsmanship skills are never passive, and only actively invoked, i.e. as "blows" to the enemy.

Increased sword damage.
Three rapid attacks at reduced damage.
Increased sword damage against flying demons.
  • Charge (Sword of Reckoning level 3)
Charge attack that does increased damage.
Throws the sword with extra damage.
Spinning attack against melee ranged foes at increased damage.
Allows dual wielding blades.
Increased sword damage.
Increases thrown sword damage.
Unknown skill properties.
  • Hamper (Sword of Authority level 1)
Reduces enemy movement rate and armor.
Shards flies outwards, based on sword damage.
Unknown skill properties.
Moving, whirling attack for 4 secs.
Unknown skill properties.

Auras

Auras offer passive enhancements whose power may depend on outside factors, like the number of nearby enemies.

Regeneration based on enemies in the area of effect.
Stun, Ignite, Shock, Phase, and Poison attacks increased by 1 per enemy in area of effect.
Deflects ranged attacks.
Increases the critical hit chance based on enemies in area of effect.
Reflects ranged attacks.

Ungrouped

Some skills currently do not use a known skill group.

Taunts the targetted monster to attack and makes the others flee.
Taunted monsters have reduced damage.
