An improved and more complicated version of the Lightning spell, Chain Lightning arcs from foe to foe, branching out until all of its energy is dissipated. The stench of burnt flesh and ozone is often all that remains after this spell is cast.

  • Lightning only chains if there's another target within radius (otherwise it travels harmlessly off-screen).
  • Lightning won't necessarily chain between every eligible target before returning to previous targets: however, lightning will only chain back and forth between targets if next delay has expired before the same target is hit again (otherwise it travels harmlessly off-screen).
  • Skill level is applied when cast, while Lightning Mastery and other +% Lightning Skill Damage is applied to each link in the chain as it's created.
  • Displayed lightning chain doesn't necessarily correspond to targets hit.
  • Synergy bonuses don't apply to minimum lightning damage.
  • Cast rate
