While everyone is able to craft and trade in PotBS, Free Traders get specific skills that enable them to do so with greater efficiency.

Free Trader Captain Skills

Desperation

Desperation Fire 1

Attack: Reduces own armor, all sides, by 10% and gets a +25% damage bonus to the target. 1 minute cooldown.

Dump Guns

Damages guns by 20% while giving a +15% speed boost to battle speed and +25% acceleration. 1 minute cooldown.

Desperation Fire 2

Attack: Reduces own armor, all sides, by 5% and gets a +40% damage bonus to the target. 1 minute cooldown.

Rum Ration

+15 % reload speed, +10% turn, +10% acceleration, +10 max. morale for 5 minutes. 5 minute cooldown.

Hasty Fire

+50% reload speed, -20% crew damage resistance for 2 minutes. 5 minute cooldown.

Ship Mastery

Hold Together

Repairs 25% of armor and rigging over 30s. 5m cooldown.

Identify Weakness 1

Target's defense -4 for 1m. 5m cooldown.

Reinforcement

Armour damage resistance +4%, structure damage resistance +2%. Passive.

Identify Weakness 2

Target's defense -8 for 1m. 5m cooldown.

Overloaded Shot

Attack that does +40% damage but reduces accuracy by -3 for 30s. 5m cooldown.

Smuggling

Rescue Me

Ally's speed and acceleration increased +25% for 30s. 5m cooldown.

Ranging Shot

Attack that increases accuracy by +4 for 5 minutes, canceled on taking damage. 5s cooldown.

Smuggled Cargo

Lose 50% less loot when surrendering. Passive.

Give the Slip

Open sea speed of all enemies reduced 30% for 15s. 30m cooldown.

Misdirection

Immune to all attacks on the open sea for 30s, 30m cooldown.

Increases broad reach/running before the wind speed +6%, -20 max morale, toggle

Optimal Rigging

+5% speed bonus to battle and open sea speed, passive.
