More options can be added to the drop-down menus by using the following syntax:
 +

 +
* {{gw2food/l|search_term|displayed_text}}@-@
 +
** search_term is what the tool is searching for in any food description
 +
** search_term is case-sensitive. Stat bonuses or raw Magic Find need to be capitalized, so that "Power" is not confused with things like "Gain healing power" that should be lowercase.
 +
** displayed_text is what you see in the drop-down menu when you click it.
 +
** @-@ separates the options. It shouldn't be used after the last option.
 +
** {{gw2food/l|empty|----}}@-@ This creates the line that disables the search term in that drop-down.

More food items can be added by using the following syntax:
 +

 +
* {{gw2food|item_name|duration|1st_bonus|2nd_bonus|3rd_bonus|character_level|apple/wrench_icon}}@@
 +
** item_name should use the in-game singular naming (Plate, not Plates) with proper capitalization.
 +
** duration should be entered like 10m, 15m, 1h etc.
 +
** 1st-2nd-3rd bonuses are case-sensitive. Stats or things like Magic Find need to be capitalized like in older entries.
 +
** character_level is self-explanatory
 +
** apple/wrench_icon uses a number 1/2 to separate chef items (1) from sharpening stones and such (2).
 +
** food items need to be entered in order of the chef recipe list in the game, in proper categories, to make it easier to update.
 +
** @@ separates the items. It shouldn't be used after the last item in the list.

This database will filter food based on your input. (discussion link)

The search field is case-insensitive. It searches everything, not just item names or bonuses (for example, "1h" will return food with 1h duration).

The database also includes consumables produced by non-chef crafts, except potions (which are probably easy enough to filter in-game and on the official wiki).

Anyone with an account on this wiki can add or edit the items, if a patch introduces any changes. The formatting is simple enough to copy-paste and use.
