Background
Jessica is the granddaughter of Commander Patrick Sumerisle. So far we've only seen her in the comic and the cinematic trailer shown at the E3 2006. These both showed Jessica as a young girl in 2020. The actual game takes place in 2038. Little is known about her parents or what her role will be in the year 2038.
