Un'Goro Crater
Overview
This zone is based upon a "Land of the Lost" type setting. There are many dinosaurs roaming the lands. In the center of the zone you can find a large Volcano.

Zone Guide
This zone has lots of quests; it's quite possible to get 2 full levels in 51-55 range just from the contents in this zone. Most of the quests are both Horde and Alliance; as for specific ones, I only played Horde, so please feel in Alliance-specific quests.
I suggest freeing at least 10 quest slots in your log before you come to Un'Goro, since many if not all quests are best done at the same time.
There's no flight points or inns in the zone. Walk from Silithus or from Tanaris. You can jump down into the crater from Tanaris, but it's a guranteed-kill height, so you need some sort of slow-fall perk. Druids can use Barkskin, since 20% damage reduction is applied after the guranteed-kill falling damage is calculated.
PvP hotspots include the area near the north camp in-between the tar pits (tar mobs are farmed) and the volcano in the middle (higher levels farm fire elementals there). The edges of the crater are used as roads, in particluar the stretch from the Tanaris ramp counterclockwise to the Silithus ramp, so beware.
Local Un’Goro Quests
Most of these quests start from NPCs in or nearby the North camp. Just follow the crater edge to the North terminus. Don’t forget to visit J.D. Collie deep in the cave in the camp, as well as grab the quest from the poster. Also, there’re two quest givers outside of the camp, Krakle (30, 50) and Torwa Pathfinder just North from the Un’Goro end of the road from Tanaris.
Dadanga is Hungry!
This is a repeatable quest. Bring 15 sprouts, get random item in a box. Sprouts can be looted from objects of the same name spread through Un’Goro.
Alien Ecology (52)
Description: Use the Scraping Vial to collect a Hive Wall Sample from one of the Gorishi hive hatcheries in Un'Goro Crater. Look for the chambers with the hanging larval spawns. Bring the Hive Wall Sample to Hol'anyee Marshal in Un'Goro Crater.
Target: Enter the underground hive in the south-central portion of the crater. The ramp and entrance are marked on the map as The Slithering Scar. Once inside I just followed the passage left at the first intersection and it took me into the room with hanging larval spawns. Stand in-between the stones in the center of the room and use the hive scraper. 49, 85.
Beware of Pterrordax (55)
Description: Kill 10 Pterrordax and 15 Frenzied Pterrordax, then speak to Spraggle Frock at Marshal's Refuge.
Target: You’ll find the standard ones in Slithering Scar (57, 90), south of the volcano, and North from the Northern Pylon. Frenzied spawn, for example, around (24, 42) and (20, 60)
Chasing A-Me 01
This is an escort quest line. The second part of the line requires Mithril Casing, which is an engineering item. The escort path lies through a PvP warzone, so doing it in a large group might be a good idea.
Description: Find A-Me 01 in Un'Goro Crater.
Target: The location for A-Me is (67, 18). Enter the cave and follow the right wall. You'll come across a sleeping gorilla. Slay that gorilla and A-Me will spawn.
Crystals of Power
This line leads to Pylon quests. Pylons are located as follows:
The Eastern Pylon 77, 50
The Northern Pylon 56,12
The Western Pylon 23,59
Description: Collect 7 Power Crystals of each color: red, blue, yellow, and green. Bring them to J.D. Collie at Marshal's Refuge.
Expedition Salvation (53)
Description: Bring a Crate of Foodstuffs and Research Equipment to Williden Marshal in Un'Goro Crater
Target: 39, 66 for the Equipment and 67, 36 for the Foodstuffs
Finding the Source
Description: Krakle in Un'Goro Crater wants you to find the hottest area of Fire Plume Ridge. Whenever you find a hot spot, right click the thermometer to check the temperature. Keep looking until you find the hottest one.
Target: Fire Plume Ridge Hot Spots look like high vertical outcroppings of hot and crackling rock. The one at 50, 46 was the hottest for me; don’t know if it’s a fixed or random spawn.
It's a Secret to Everybody
Starts by an object, around 63, 68 in Un’Goro, and weaves through a huge and fairly fun chain that takes you to Winterspring, Felwood and Tanaris and back again to Un’Goro. The last step is L56 elite quest “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone”.
Roll the Bones
Description: Bring 8 Dinosaur Bones to Spark Nilminer in Un'Goro Crater
Target: 33, 77 has a couple of objects that you can loot the bones from. Look for the bones around the dead dinosaur. They also drop from Diemetradons (they roam the central vertical stripe of Un’Goro) and other dinosaurs, but looting them from those objects is much faster.
Shizzle's Flyer
Description: Collect 8 Webbed Diemetradon Scales and 8 Webbed Pterrordax Scales for Shizzle in Marshal's Refuge.
Target: 79, 41 is reported to have more Pterrordaxes. Note that all varieties drop these items; it even appears that younger Diemetradons have better drop probability. Still, on the 1 to 10 annoyance scale, this quest gets 11, since diemetradons are not exactly common themselves, and the drop chance is somewhere around 25% at best.
Lost!
Description: Find Ringo at Fire Plume Ridge.
Target: On the map, you will see two caves on the volcano. Ringo can be found in the cave to the right. You will see a path marked by torches zig-zagging up the hill to the cave. The next part is an escort quest, “A Little Help From My Friends”. Another escort through a PvP battlefield, bring friends.
The Apes of Un'Goro (55, 47min)
Unlike most Un’Goro quests, this one is started by Torwa Pathfinder, in the South-East of the zone Description: Bring 2 Un'Goro Gorilla Pelts, 2 Un'Goro Stomper Pelts, and 2 Un'Goro Thunderer Pelts to Torwa Pathfinder at the entrance of Un'Goro Crater.
Target: Apes spawn in the North-East, and you encounter them anyway while doing A-ME quest.
The Fare of Lar'korwi (53)
Another quest from Torwa. Description: Find the carcass of Lar'korwi's freshest kill and steal a Piece of Threshadon Carcass before returning to Torwa Pathfinder in Un'Goro Crater. This is actually a start of a line; IIRC the in-game instructions for the next steps were good enough

Silithid Line from Tanaris
Begins in Gadgetzan and weaves through Un’Goro with two trips to Orgrimmar.
Gadgetzan Water Survey (46)
Description: Use the untapped dowsing widget near the pool of water by Sandsorrow Watch. Once you have collected the sample, return the tapped dowsing widget to Senior Surveyor Fizzledowser in Gadgetzan.
Target: 39,30
Noxious Lair Investigation (47)
Description: Bring five Centipaar insect parts from the Noxious Lair to Alchemist Pestlezugg in Gadgetzan.
Target: Random drop off mobs at 36, 46
The Scrimshank Redemption (48)
Description: Discover the fate of Junior Surveyor Scrimshank, and bring either him or his surveying equipment to Senior Surveyor Fizzledowser in Gadgetzan.
Target: Scrimshank's Surveying Gear. To find the gear go down the ramp, there will be 2 tunnels you want the tunnel at the bottom of the ramp. Once you enter the cave you want to go right at the fist intersection. Note that the minimap doesn’t show some of the tunnels that obviously exist. There will be a large circular room; head through the room to the next tunnel. You will come to another intersection; go right again. You will come to another large room; the equipment is located in the N.W. corner of that room. The room looks sort of like a square on the mini map, but it is more like an X shaped place. 56, 71
Rise of the Silithid (48)
Description: Take the report to Zilzibin Drumlore in Orgrimmar.
Target: Zil lives in a house on the second tier of the Drag in Orgrimmar (56, 46)
March of the Silithid (53)
Description: Speak to Alchemist Pestlezugg in Gadgetzan.
Bungle in the Jungle (53)
Description: Bring a Gorishi Scent Gland and 5 Un'Goro Soil samples to Alchemist Pestlezugg in Gadgetzan.
Target: Gorishi Scent Gland dropped by Gorishi Wasps and Workers in the South part of Un’Goro. Soil samples dropped by most mobs in Un’Goro, and also can be looted from Un'Goro Dirt Piles.
Pawn Captures Queen (54)
Description: Defeat the Gorishi Hive Queen once she is summoned. Bring the Gorishi Queen's Brain to Alchemist Pestlezugg in Gadgetzan. […] Using the lure on the crystal should roust out the queen, but be warned - she will probably be protected by several guards. Take out the queen and remove her brain.
Target: Un’Goro 44, 81. To get to the room, take a right when you first enter, and just follow that path all the way to the small circular room (most northeastern part of the cave). Guards spawn in waves, two in the first and three in the second wave
Calm before the Storm (54, 52min)
Description: Bring Pestlezugg's Un'Goro Report to Zilzibin Drumlore in Orgrimmar.
Ooze Line from Undercity
The end reward of the line is a ring with 10 INT 4 SPI and 4 STA.
... and a Batch of Ooze
Description: Gather Un'Goro Slime Samples from any of the slimes in Un'Goro Crater. Then, using the Testing Equipment next to Chemist Fuely in Undercity, see which of your samples are the most pure. Bring 5 of the Pure Un'Goro Samples you find to Chemist Fuely.
Target: Kill Oozes, get untested samples. Bring plenty of samples to Undercity, since the probability of them testing pure is fairly low. I had to test 17 to get 5 pure samples.
You will also need to hunt oozes in Felwood to get the next Un'Goro quest in the line. It seems that Felwood samples test positive with about 40-50% probability, much higher than the Un'Goro ones.
Melding of Influences
Description: Here is some encased ooze created from the Felwood samples you recovered. Take the case to Un'Goro Crater and find a pure ooze... the primal variety will do nicely. When you get close enough, release the ooze in the case, and let us see what the two think of one another. After the experiment concludes, bring me a sample of whatever is left over.
Target: Primal oozes are all over the middle part of Un’Goro, from North to South. Make sure you "cast" the ooze when you're aggroed. If the little green guy doesn't see the little red guy, you'll have to run all the way back to the UC for another barrel.
Misc. Quests Acquired in Other Zones
Un'Goro Soil (50)
The NPC who starts this short chain is Innkeeper Gryshka in Orgrimmar; the first step in the chain is to travel to Thunder Bluff from there and talk to Arch Druid Hamuul to get the Un’Goro quest.
Description: Bring 20 Un'Goro Soil samples to Ghede on the Elder Rise of Thunder Bluff.
Target: remember that you need 5 of these samples for another quest, “Bungle in the Jungle”. Even after you get 25 of them, you may want to continue collecting the soil; there's a follow-up repeatable "Morrowgrain" quest that you can get in TB.
Super Sticky (54)
Another Gadgetzan – Un’Goro quest
Description: Collect 12 samples of Super Sticky Tar for Tran'rek in Gadgetzan. […] Not just any tar, now, you'll need to get it from the beasts that live around the tar pits.
Target: Tar Lords spawn around tar pits in the Northern part on Un’Goro
Volcanic Activity(55, 49min)
Description: Collect 9 samples of Un'Goro Ash from the fire elementals around the volcano in Un'Goro Crater, and return them to Liv Rizzlefix in Ratchet
Target: Elementals of multiple types spawn in the center of the crater
Bone-Bladed Weapons (52)
Description: Bring 8 White Ravasaur Claws to Jes'rimon in Orgrimmar
Target: Ravasaurs, mostly in the eastern part of the crater.
