Long time Guild Wars player, former Diablo II player, currently Guild Wars 2 addict.  Basiner.

Guild Wars 2 has been a natural fit for me, moving right in from the original.  In the switch to the new game, I was also asked to step into the Basin roles of Game Council member and PvP Coordinator.  This means I head up the Basin's WvW Commanders -- I help enable them to lead the Basin into battle, though I find myself doing little leading currently.  I'll also help round up a structured PvP group or two at some point, though we, as a guild, haven't done much in that venue yet.

This comes after a long spell as de facto GvG organizer for GW1, where I led approximately 8 distinct groups of players in tournaments, ladder play, and weekly team groups.  The 8v8 format seemed to fit me well -- it was big enough to allow tactics and organization to carry the day, while small enough to not eliminate the need for individual skill.  In GW2, I find sPvP to be too duel-oriented and WvW to be too zerg oriented.  That said, I enjoy both PvP venues, and also like running organized PvE, especially in hard dungeons and bigger Guild Missions and meta-events.

| Veronique started as a plan for a curse necro, but quickly found that all the cool curses were learned in other continents.  So she changed her mind and became a vampire for most of her life -- there's nothing more fun than stealing monster life-blood.  Now that she's older and wiser, she's taken advantage of the best energy management a few souls can buy, and has played the role of curse necro, ellie nuker, rit healer, 55 monk, and nearly any caster-role imaginable.

Who Am I?

Long time Guild Wars player, former Diablo II player, currently Guild Wars 2 addict. Basiner.

Guild Wars 2 has been a natural fit for me, moving right in from the original. In the switch to the new game, I was also asked to step into the Basin roles of Game Council member and PvP Coordinator.   • God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals!
 Morello, namesake of several old Diablo toons, is a Dervish of Dazzling Deeds. My first Guild Wars character, I chose the profession because it promised the best looking armor and the coolest weapon. A big fan of the two-hand barbarian, a whirling dervish seemed the best fit... not the world's best tank, but she can put out some serious damage. She also serves the role of runner and farmer -- the real breadwinner of my GW family.
