For the moment, this is a simple copy of the link collection done by MetalDemoness, USWest, originally posted 08/03/2009 09:40:28 AM PDT on the now deleted blizzard forums (yes, this link isn't working). Since this was taken from some archive page or whatever, I'm not sure if it's complete. I'm gradually trying to reactivate the links, or locate the new sources or whatever, going to take a while. Also, there will be some formatting for my convenience.

Character Builds/Guides Collection

This thread is basically a general compilation of builds/guides that are available to the public that may be helpful when making new characters or improving existing ones.

I do not take credit for any of the guides that may be viewed at these links, nor am I or Blizzard Entertainment responsible for their upkeep or any content found at the links within this thread. Feel free to suggest a guide, just make sure it's on a site of appropriate nature and the guide is reasonably thorough (various gear setups, explanations, strategies, and feedback are preferred).

If someone prefers not to have their guide linked to here, just reply to this thread and request removal (I simply do not have the time nor means of contacting each individual guide creator, and I apologize in advance if this causes any problems). Again, I am not taking credit for the work of others, as this is merely a collection of public links found to be helpful or that have been submitted by the author.

Please do not post actual guides within this thread. I only plan on linking to guides stored elsewhere, not actually storing them within this thread (it’s simply neater to do it this way). If you'd like opinions on a guide you've made, there are many forums out there (including this one) where you can post your guide and receive feedback.

When reading a guide, I suggest reading the critiques of them as well (when available). A number of guides contain errors, which are pointed out in the critiques. The critiques may also contain other helpful tidbits of information, so it is always a good idea to read through them.

Some links are down from time to time, but are usually back up within a day or so, so keep this in mind before reporting a dead link, please. I will periodically check all links and remove those to unavailable guides. Due to Blizzard’s forum format, links are not directly clickable, so they must be copied and pasted into a web browser to work.

For basic Diablo II info, please consult the Arreat Summit.
