It does not apply to the Weapon Block skill (claw-block). ICB adds to the base Chance to Block (which depends on class) of the shield equipped. ICB from equipment other than the shield is not added at the shield display (but it is included when calculating character's Chance to Block). Chance to Block displayed on the shield is the sum of the (class-dependent) base value, ICB on the shield, and ICB from Holy Shield when it is active. Chance to Block displayed on the shield is subject to a display cap of 75% (higher values are still used internally when calculating character's Chance to Block, viz, the value displayed when pointing the cursor at 'Defense' in the character screen: consult the Class main page for details). Skill Holy Shield applies min(10 + [30 * [(110*slvl) / (slvl+6)] / 100], 40)% Increased Chance of Blocking for 5+(25*slvl) seconds when cast.
