The following skills attack with both weapons: Assassin Barbarian Normal Attack Fists of Fire Dragon Claw Claws of Thunder Blades of Ice Whirlwind Normal Attack Double Swing Double Throw Frenzy Whirlwind All other attacks only use primary weapon. Primary weapon To begin with, the primary weapon is whichever weapon is equipped first by the player. However, after switching weapons or retrieving a corpse the weapon in the left inventory slot above gloves is normally equipped first. Weapon in left inventory slot is not equipped first if it cannot be equipped before weapon in right inventory slot above boots. If the two weapons have a different appearance, whichever is primary can be confirmed by observing that displayed in the right hand. Weapon speed Weapon speed is calculated using the weapon speed of both weapons: Inventory Weapon speed Left Right Primary Secondary [ (WS left + WS right) / 2 ] Secondary Primary [ (WS left + WS right) / 2 ] + (WS right – WS left) [1] Equipping primary weapon in right inventory slot above boots results in buggy calculation of weapon speed when weapons have different weapon speeds. Equipping the faster weapon first results in lower weapon speed: faster than the average (WS right < WS left in the table below). Equipping the slower weapon first results in higher weapon speed: slower than the average (WS right > WS left in the table below). The greater the difference, the greater the effect: WS left WS right 20 10 5 0 -5 -10 -15 -20 -30 20 20 5 -3 -10 -18 -25 -33 -40 -55 10 25 10 2 -5 -13 -20 -27 -35 -50 5 27 12 5 -3 -10 -17 -25 -32 -47 0 30 15 7 0 -7 -15 -22 -30 -45 -5 32 17 10 3 -5 -12 -20 -27 -42 -10 35 20 13 5 -2 -10 -17 -25 -40 -15 37 23 15 8 0 -7 -15 -22 -37 -20 40 25 18 10 3 -5 -12 -20 -35 -30 45 30 23 15 8 0 -7 -15 -30 Weapon modifier When the following modifiers are on a weapon, they only apply to attacks (including Dragon Talon, Dragon Tail and Dragon Flight) made using that weapon: % Attack Rating 1 Attack Rating 1 Attack Rating Against Demons Attack Rating Against Undead 1 Chance to Cast On Attack On Striking When You Kill an Enemy Cold Damage and length Crushing Blow Damage + Damage to Demons 1 Damage to Undead 1 Deadly Strike 1 Enhanced Damage Fire Damage Freezes Target Hit Blinds Target Hit Causes Monster to Flee Ignore Target's Defense Increased Attack Speed Knockback Life Stolen Lightning Damage Magic Damage Mana Stolen Maximum Damage 1 Minimum Damage Monster Defense per hit Open Wounds Piercing Attack Poison Damage and length Prevent Monster Heal Reanimate Slain Monsters Rest in Peace Slows Target -% Target Defense 1 Including Based on Character Level Reference JRichard, Assassin Attack Speeds
